Biggest influences: all the talented people I've worked with over the years; then Benjamin "Selwy" Leitgeb (visit selwy.com - the best single page of digital sculpting on the entire Internet, in my opinionSmile ); Capcom's character art team; SEGA's Yakuza character art team; Kojima Productions' character art team; Stan Winston, Rick Baker, Rob Bottin and crews. Those life-changing titles that inspired me to switch careers and work in videogames: Legend Of Zelda - The Wind Waker and Resident Evil 4. Phenomenal games with amazing art and design.

What can I say, except thank you! I haven't done any clay sculpting since ZBrush became a viable option, unfortunately. I think I'd miss the Undo button if I ever went back!

    Excellent work!

I just wanted to say that when I read 'Haze (lol)' I belly laughed - had a friend who worked on it & might advise him to amend his C.V in much the same way :)

Hum.. great to know. I'm doing a lot of experiments with Zbrush renders too, in passes. But in version 3.1. I hope I can get great renders like yours some day. Keep it up!

Awesome. Loved the Zbrush portraits. Do you do them with version 4, BPR?

Thankyou! The ZBrush portraits were done in 3.5. I rendered out multiple passes (the colour texture at full brightness, the blank ZTool with 3D shading, specular highlights only, etc.) and then layered them in Photoshop until I got an effect I liked. Definitely nothing fancy in terms of rendering, just straight exports from the ZBrush viewport for the most part.
